NLP Coaching vs Self Help
NLP Coaching vs Self Help
People who use the self help approach to resolve their problems or creating change will usually follow the advice of self help books, You tube clips, TV shows, CDs, DVDs, seminars and web based material from internet sites.
When using the self help process, it's YOU that has to provide the energy, guidance, support, wisdom and direction to learn as well as doing what you feel is necessary to achieve your goals.
Self help also means that generally you conduct most of these processes for improvement alone. Consequently, the self help approach usually produces incomplete results. People don't see it through because of the lack of support, guidance and motivation.
In NLP Coaching we already realise that you could probably arrive at the same goals or outcomes without or with a NLP Coach. However, without a NLP Coach the process would be more tedious and often more difficult. Very often we can't step out of our own logical thinking and we get stuck with moving forwards. This is where we need to bounce ideas off someone else like a NLP Coach.
A NLP Coach is trained is process and not content which means they can quickly discover where the process is going wrong for the Client and quickly correct it and get the person back on track with feedback and therefore improves the overall results.
